Domaine de Bel Air Morgon
The History
Domaine de Bel-Air has been overlooking Beaujeu, the historic capital of the Beaujolais region, since 1840. The vineyards are on the fully south facing slopes of Bel Air,
where the terroir is made up of blue granite. This gives superb fruity and generous Gamay wines.
The Grape
100% Gamay
Tasting Note
This very specific terroir gives stone fruit armoas flavors (cherry, peach and plum) and a deep ruby robe. This is a generous and powerful wine. The perfect partner to Coq au Vin, Boeuf Bourguignon, and your favorite cheeses.
