Jules de Souzy Macon Villages

The History

The well-known lord Jules du Souzy, winegrower and aristocrat, lived in the Château de la Terrière during the 19th century and developed the reputation of the castle. The wines from Jules du Souzy are from high density vineyards. Grapes are harvested healthy and with good maturity. The winemaking is traditional and respects the quality of the harvest and its terroir. This philosophy allows the wine to develop its identity and fruitiness.

Tasting Note

Mâcon-Villages is a fairly lively, very charming wine. When very young, whatever the year, it is characterised by floral and fruity aromas, with a few nuances of lemon and a beautiful minerality.
